[47758] "The Bridgeport Post [Bridgeport, Connectict]," 4 April 1976, p. 21: "Stratford - Services for Mrs. Sarah Whitley Sweger, 87, of 12 Rowland street, widow of Edward M. Swegcr, who died Friday, will take place Tuesday at 10 a.m. in the Stratford funeral home of Dennis and D'Arcy, 2611 Main street. The Rev. Paul M. Ewing, pastor of the Stratford United Methodist church, will officiate. Burial will be in Union cemetery. Mrs. Sweger, a native of Middletown, was a Stratford resident 60 years. She was a member of the Stratford United Mcthodist church. Survivors include two sons, Edward W. Sweger of Trumbull and Robert M. Sweger, Dallas, Tex.; two brothers, Howard Whitley of Bridgeport and Scott Whitley of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; two grandchildren and several nephews."
