Judith died 6 Feb 1661/1662 and later Giles took as a second wife Joan (____) Tilson, widow of Edmund Tilson and still later as a third wife Hannah (Pontius) Churchill, widow of John Churchill.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Beatrice Hutchins; a son, Reginald of Portland; a grandson, Douglas of Verona; one brother, Gerald of Hull's Cove two half brothers George of Mtllinocket and Oakley of Penobscot; three half sisters, Mrs. Regina Perkins and Mrs. Adeline Grindle of Penobsco and Mrs. Dorothy Webster, West Penobscot; several nieces, nephews and cousins."
