He was born in Castine, Maine on December 9, 1945, the son of Horace and Avis (Farren) West. He worked for many years as a cab driver for Town Taxi in Bangor. Carroll always had a smile on his face and was always a joy to be with. He was predeceased by his parents; and his sister, Betty Carpenter. He is survived by his brother, Ernest West and his wife, Rosemary; his sister, Sandra Peirce; and his brother, Edwin West and his wife, Donna. He is also survived by a long time special friend, Craig Stroub. He has many nieces and nephews."
