She was born March 11, 1956, in Jonesport, the daughter of Nancy Lee (Young) Harrington and Herbert Huckins, Jr. Diana was a 1974 graduate of Narraguagus High School, and a 1978 graduate of the University of Maine at Machias. She served as Assistant Director of Administrative Services and Assistant to the Campus Dean at the University of Maine at Augusta's Bangor Campus from 1978 to 2015. Diana also served the State of Maine as a Notary Public from 1998 to 2019. Diana loved history. This devotion led her to the field of genealogy. She was a lifetime member of the Milbridge Historical Society and Ladies Auxiliary of the VFW; a member of the General Society of Mayflower Descendants and the Daughters of the American Revolution - Hannah Weston Chapter. In 2003, Diana co-authored Cemetery Inscriptions, Milbridge, Washington County, Maine, with Alice Beal and Beverly Pinkham. In 2010, Diana authored Vital Records of Milbridge, Maine, to the year 1900. She is survived by her mother, Nancy Harrington of Milbridge; her beloved pugs, Molly and Lucy; stepdaughter, Kristine Moody; and stepgranddaughter, Sophie Moody of Portland; stepgranddaughter, Hannah Moody of Spencer, Massachusetts; stepson-in-law, Tim Ward; and stepgrandson, Cameron Ward, both of Glenburn; sisters, Laurie Hall and husband, Bruce, of Milbridge, and Rhonda Morgan and husband, Tex, of Bradford; nieces, Laura Lee Hall and her partner, Chris Kittredge, of Milbridge, Lisa Jazowski and her husband, Bryan, of Bradford, Ashlee Gould and her husband, Timothy, of Dexter; nephew, Bruce Hall Jr. and wife, Eileen, of Cherryfield; great-nephews, William Jennison IV of Bradford, and Camden Kittredge of Milbridge; great-nieces, Aseneth Kittredge of Milbridge, Eleanor and Jolene Hall of Cherryfield. In addition to her father, Diana was predeceased by her husband, Samuel F. Bartlett Jr.; stepson, Marc Bartlett; stepdaughter, Karen Ward; stepfather, George Harrington; and stepbrother, George Harrington Jr.
