She was born Oct. 5, 1923 in Coldwater the daughter of Martin and Blanche (Thompson) Loose. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Wayne D. Archer whom she married on Dec. 10, 1942; her brother, Elton Loose and two nephews, Wayne Loose and Patrick Murphy. She is survived by one son, Dean (Dawn) Archer; one daughter, Colleen Archer ; two grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren. several nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews. Mrs. Archer graduated from Coldwater High School with the class of 1941. She worked as a Clerk at the Post Office in Hanover for over 20 years. She was a life member of the Order of Eastern Star, a member of Country Couples of Branch County, a member of Hillside United Methodist Church and a member of the Hanover-Horton Area Historical Society. Mrs. Archer loved to spend time with her family and she enjoyed boating and traveling all over the United States and Canada. She also enjoyed flowers and spending time with her church family and friends."
