Main Street, Muncy, PA, passed away on Saturday, September 4, 2004 in the Muncy Valley Hospital following a brief illness. Born in Allenwood, Union County, PA, on Sunday, May 19, 1918, he was the son of the late Claude A. and Katy May (Drumheller) Brown. He was the husband of Pauline E. (Murray) Brown with whom he celebrated a 59th wedding anniversary on August 8, 2004. Ray was a 1936 graduate of the former Watsontown High School. He served during the Second World War with the U.S. Navy in the European Theatre. Mr. Brown was a Ford dealer with the Murray Motor Company at Muncy, PA for over 50 years . He previously had been employed by the former Philco Corporation and Stone Webster Construction Company. He was an active member of the Muncy Presbyterian Church and a former member of the Washington Presbyterian Church at Allenwood. Raymond was a 50 year member of Watsontown Lodge #401 Free and Accepted Masons, Warrior Run Royal Arch Chapter #246 and the Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite, Valley of Williamsport (Consistory). He was a member and past president of the Lycoming County New Car Dealers Association. In addition to his wife, he is survived by 2 sons, Raymond C. 'Sonny' (Becky) Brown, Jr., Muncy, PA; William C. (Marilyn) Brown, Muncy, PA; 2 daughters, Kathryn M. (Frank) Moncado, Newtown, PA; Pattie E.B. (Charles) Guttenplan, North Wales, PA; 9 grandchildren, Jessica and Matthew Brown; Kathryn R. and Sarah Moncado; Cassandra, Carina and Clarissa Brown; Jacob and Aaron Guttenplan. He was preceded in death by 4 brothers and 4 sisters."

He married Mary Gibbson in 1641 in USA. . . . . He died on May 31, 1676, in Watertown, Massachusetts, at the age of 55, and was buried there. Mary Gibbson was born in 1625 in Suffolk, England. . . . She died as a young mother in August 1659 in Watertown, Massachusetts, at the age of 34, and was buried there."

Note: Johannes &Anna Barbara emigrated to Philadelphia from Germany in 1715. Some of Johannes descendants evidently changed their surname to Kepler.

She was born May 8, 1923, the daughter of Urban and Doris Leach. She is survived by two daughters, Shannon Maresca and her husband, Louis Johnson, of Hawaii, and Bonnie Grindle of Blue Hill; two sons, Dale Robertson and his wife, Stephanie, of Colchester, CT and Dennis Robertson and his wife, Patricia, of Penobscot; a brother, Phillip Leach, and his wife Patricia of Hallowell; 11 grandchildren, Michael Maresca and wife Nicole, Mark Maresca and fiancée, Lianne Shen and Matthew Maresca and wife, Barbara, Dana Grindle, Linda Grindle and Sandra Grindle-Peck, Michelle Mendonsa, Kimberly Robertson and Jennifer Labrie and husband, James, and Dawn and Debra Robertson; and eight great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband of 60 years, Ralph Robertson, in 2001 and her son-in-law, Jerry Grindle in 2013. Marcia was a graduate of Clark High School in Penobscot, class of 1941. While raising four children she was involved with blueberries; from working in a blueberry factory to being an owner and operator of 30 acres of blueberry land. She enjoyed many activities including square dancing, boating, swimming and beating us all at scrabble. After retiring she and Ralph enjoyed living winters in Hawaii and Zephyrhills, FL. Whether she was called Marcia, Mom, Nana or Nannie, it is agreed she was a great cook, an avid reader and a loving mother and grandmother."
