[56292] "The Bangor Daily News [Bangor, Maine]," 11 August 2022: "Winterport - Evelyn M. Inman passed away peacefully on August 7, 2022, after a courageous battle with COPD. She was born in Bangor, Maine to Charles and Mona Stillings on June 11, 1928, and lived to the advanced age of 94. The simplest pleasures of life brought great joy to Evelyn. She would find delight in the beauty of her flowers, a squirrel, bird or deer outside her window. The highlights of her life were the visits from her children and grandchildren. In her healthy years, her kitchen was a gathering place for fish fries and spaghetti feeds and her passions were Bingo, yard sales and dining out. Her visitors knew better than risk her disappointment by showing up without scratch tickets. She was grateful for the years of care provided by her son, Bruce, that enabled her to live out her life in her home. She is survived by three sons, Michael A. Inman (and wife, Betty), Steven Inman, Bruce Inman; and daughter, Linda Basso; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. She was predeceased by the love of her life, her husband, Clifford; and her beloved son, David. She will be fondly remembered by her daughter-in-law, Mary Carter; sisters-in-law, Olive Pierce and Juanita Estey; and friend, Gloria Cyr."
