His marriage record is the first record of Daniel. Another Horner was married in the same church 14 Feb 1809 - Charlotte Hoerner [sic] to Jacob Pfeifer.
At 1790 PA census Horner heads of families with boys 5-6 years old were Robert of York Co., David of York Co., Benjamin of Philadelphia, John of Bucks Co., Andrew of Dauphin Co., George of Westmoreland Co., David of Cumberland Co. and Abram, Frederick, John and Soloman [sic](see below) of Franklin Co. There were 54 Horner households in the 1810 PA census. The 1830 census of Codorus Twp. shows a Daniel Horner with 13 people in his household: a man and a woman each between ages 60 & 70; a man and a woman each between ages 40 & 50; one female and two males between ages 15 & 20; two males between ages 10 & 15; two males between ages 5 & 10; one male and one female under age 5.
In "Pennsylvania German Marriages," by Donna Irish (1982), Daniel's surname is spelled Harner, and the marriage was solemnized by the Rev. George Geistweit for First (Trinity) Reformed Church; his pastoral acts also include the marriage of David Brillhart and Catharina Lau (1 Feb 1810) and Johannes Brillhart to Catharina Lau (22 Feb 1810) [yes, the brides have the same name and in the same month! - intriguing!].
A Daniel Horner was born in 1748 in Berwick Twp., Adams (then York) Co., PA, and other Daniel Horners in 1781 and 1796 in Somerset Co., PA, according to the IGI file of the LDS CHurch. They do not appear to be our Daniel.

The Rev. Walter Shymansky performed the double ring ceremony at 4 p. m. The bride was given in marriage by her father. She wore a white satin gown with a square neckline, long sleeves, fitted bodice with peplum and bustle back, and full skirt ending in a long train. Her long veil was arranged from a coronet of pearlized orange blossoms. She wore a single strand of pearls and carried a bouquet of white carnations and sweet peas with an orchid center. Miss Mary Horoschak, Olyphant, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were: the Misses Antoinette Grassetti, niece of the bridegroom; Anna Rayannic, aunt of the bride, and Rose Dingeneary, Ashtabula, Ohio, niece of the bridegroom. They wore Nile green, white, blue and peach gowns, respectively, with matching headpieces, and carried roses, sweet peas, and snapdragons. Rocco Chearno, brother of the bridegroom, was best man. Ushers were: John Cecere, Olyphant; Andrew Dingeneary, Ashtabula, Ohio nephew of the bridegroom, and John Tomaskevitch, brother of the bride. After a reception at the Concord Hall, Olyphant, the newlyweds left on a wedding trip to Washington, D. C. They will reside at the home of the bridegroom. The bride's mother wore a pink and black dress with black accessories and corsage of pink roses. The bridegrooms mother wore a black dress with black accessories and corsage of white roses."
