[9200] "News-Journal [Mansfield, OH], 2 December 1913," p. 2: "David Zeiters, aged 88 years, died this afternoon at 1 o'clock at his home four miles northeast of Shelby, the result of injuries received when he slipped and fell on the sidewalk at Shelby about ten days ago. His hip and spine were injured by the fall. Mr. Zeiters is survived by five children, Henry of Franklin township, Mrs. Elmer Moon and Mrs. G W. Miller of Cass township, Mrs Samuel Arnold of Jackson township and John Zeiters of Ganges. His wife died thirteen years ago."
