He was the former police chief in Orland; a volunteer firemon at Orland; a member of the American legion; a veteran of WWII. He is survived by one brother, Howard Woodrow Hutchins of Bangor; two sisters, Elsie Elvaretta Lyons of Freeport and Iva Vivian Skidgel of Bangor; a very dear friend, Linwood Giles of Ellsworth; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. . . . Burial will be in the family lot in the Evergreen Hill Cemetery in Bucksport."
