[12905] Hannah is daughter of Daniel Clement and Hannah Bowden. She m. (2) Ebenezer Hutchins (living in 1897), son of Charles Hutchins and Mary Perkins. A calash or "bashful bonnet" of green silk was passed down through her family, and is now owned by the Wilson Museum, Castine, ME. Ancestry.com offers: "Clement Name Meaning - English, French, and Dutch: from the Latin personal name Clemens meaning 'merciful' (genitive Clementis). This achieved popularity firstly through having been borne by an early saint who was a disciple of St. Paul, and later because it was selected as a symbolic name by a number of early popes. There has also been some confusion with the personal name Clemence (Latin Clementia, meaning 'mercy', an abstract noun derived from the adjective; in part a masculine name from Latin Clementius, a later derivative of Clemens). As an American family name, Clement has absorbed cognates in other continental European languages. (For forms, see Hanks and Hodges 1988.)"

Find A Grave Memorial 71635002 offers: "Henry was born in Tiltey Abbey, and died at Groby Old Hall, whose church served as the parish church of Groby. It was remodeled not long after Henry died, and its tower replaced with a structure of Groby granite, more or less identical in appearance, in the 19th century.
He was the 4th Baron Ferrers of Groby and a supporter of Richard II against the Lancastrians whose dynastic claim was soon to break out into the War of the Roses. He fought for the King in a lost cause to maintain his holdings in Brittany from 1377-1381, and was called to fight in Scotland in 1385. Son of William de Ferrers and his first wife, Margaret de Ufford, daughter of Robert de Ufford and Margaret de Norwich."
