He retired as a Sales Executive with IBM after 33 years of service, having been located in many different cities, one of his favorite, being London, England. Mr. Owen and his wife Ann loved to entertain family and friends; he enjoyed reading, games, puzzles and together with Ann, enjoyed their beautiful gardens. He and Ann enjoyed traveling the world, with his favorite city being 'San Francisco by the Bay.' An avid runner, he participated in the Peachtree Road Race in Atlanta for 25 consecutive years. He will be remembered as a stylish and charming Southern gentleman and a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and friend. In addition to his parents, Mr. Owen is preceded in death by two sisters, Sue Dutrow and Sarah Wade Owen and a step-daughter, Loren Brown Jordan."
