Laurence was a veteran of the Air Force, was a Trooper with the Maine State Police, and worked for Cianbro and Great Northern Paper Company. He is survived by two children, Pamela Hoxie and her husband, William, and Dana Foster; several children, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Laurence was predeceased by his parents; and a brother, Phillip Foster; a sister, Frances Chipman; and an infant sister, Mildred Foster."
