Mr. Eaton worked as an automobile salesman for Coast Pontiac Cadillac in Portsmouth for 30 years retiring in 2000. He resided in Hampton since 1968 coming from Bangor. He was a member of Gov. William King Lodge 219 of Scarborough, was affiliated with St. James Lodge #102 F. & A.M. of Hampton, Scottish Rite Bodies Valley of Portsmouth-Dover, had been active with the Boy Scouts many years ago and was a former member of the Exeter Lions Club. He was the husband of the late Janet V. (Davis) Eaton who died in 2000. Private interment will be in the Exeter Cemetery."

He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Marion C. Snowman of Detroit; three sons and their wives, Michael and Laureen Snowman of Hartland, Thomas and Pam Snowman of Newport, Mark and Audrey Snowman of Palmyra; one brother, David Snowman of Palmyra; one brother-in-law, Floyd Case of Belgrade; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins."
