The month of Sarah's birth is as given by James M. Scruggs who wrote "Family Histories show their 15 children to have been born in Abbeville District, SC." Ann Scruggs notes name her Sarah Ann Irwin Franklin.
Sarah's gravestone inscription: In Memory of Sarah Cooper wife of Joseph Cooper died May 30, 1874 aged 87 years.
"She was a member of the Baptist Church and died in the Holy triumph of faith." "The Master says, well done good and faithful servant."

Reppert, and married the former Miss Lucy Patee March 7, 1885, in Indiana. He had been in the house building and building estimate business in Battle Creek. He was a former member of Battle Creek lodge. No. 29, 1. O. O. F, Besides his wife, Mr. Reppert is survived by a son, Ross R. Reppert of 22 College; a daughter, Mrs. Hazel E.
