[44808] "Mansfield News-Journal, 8 August 1928," p. 20: "Arthur Ferrell, prominent farmer of Richland county, died at his home near Shenandoah Tuesday afternoon at 1 o'clock, at the age of 74 years. Death was the result of a fall from a hay wagon, which occurred Monday according to word from the home. Mrs. Ferrell recently returned from a hospital and is still confined to her bed. The couple celebrated their fiftieth wedding anniversary a short time ago. The deceased was born in Ashland county, where he resided for 14 years, moving to Bloomlnggrove township, Richland county, where he lived until his death. He married Rebecca Hunter, who survives with their three children, Cloyd, of West Palm Beach, Fla., Beatrice, of Shenandoah, and Dwight of Cleveland."
