She was born in Dexter Sept. 15, 1880, daughter of Emerson and Rosetta Haynes Austin, and had lived the greater part of her life in Dover-Foxcroft, coming to Corinth about 10 years ago. Surviving, besides her husband, are a daughter, Mrs. Vivian Ross, Bradford, and two grandchildren." Winifred ("Mina") is daughter of Emerson Austin (1849-1938) & Rosetta Haines (1851-1909).

[15763] The unverified McCibben Family Tree in Ancestry.com in 2015 offers: "When Sylvester William Colvin was born on May 14, 1844, in Clinton County, Ohio, his father, Elisha, was 30 and his mother, Naomi, was 29. He married Ann Winchell on September 25, 1872, in Rushville, Indiana. They had five children in 17 years. He died on December 4, 1918, in Indiana, at the age of 74, and was buried in Rush County, Indiana." Sylvester was a Union Soldier. Sylvester moved to Pettis Co. after the War where he was Sheriff. Also, he was in a fight in MO and the man he was fighting with, bit off the end of his nose. He later moved back to Rush Co., IN where both he and Ann are buried with the rest of the Winchells at Little Flat Rock Cemetary.

Dunbar, 93, a retired Navy nursing corps lieutenant commander who died Monday in Devereux House Nursing Home here. She was born in Penobscot, Maine, and lived in Marblehead for the past 39 years. Miss Dunbar graduated from the former Connecticut College for Women and trained in psychiatric nursing. She later attended Georgetown University. She worked as a dietician in the Navy and in several East Coast hospitals. Miss Dunbar served the Navy for 20 years in the Nurse Corps of the Bureau of Medicine and Surgery. She retired in 1947 and moved to Marblehead. She was on duty in Pearl Harbor on Dec. 7, 1941, the day Japanese forces attacked the Navy base there and declared war on the United States. While on duty in Washington, D.C., in 1930s, Miss Dunbar contributed to the purchase of the Army and Navy nurse statue that was placed in Arlington National Cemetery. She was a life member of the Retired Officers Association, the Marblehead Historical Society, life member of the Cyclists Touring Club of London, and the Chaplain Lyman Rollins Veterans of Foreign Wars Post of Marblehead."
