[19862] Edwin's parents are from the unverified LDS Pedigree Resource File. His obituary offers: "'Curt', 86, was born October 13, 1918 in Kiefer, OK to Henry Wilbert and Adeline (Conley) Daniel. He graduated from Sapulpa High School in 1936 where he earned the nickname 'Tick' due to his smallness and speed on the football playing field. In 1937, he began a proud and rewarding 42-year career with the Frisco railroad. His first job was in Depew, OK where he held the position of 'trainmeeter,' paying $20 per month. He retired as a conductor on both freight and passenger trains. He was a World War II veteran stationed most of his service time in Alaska, sleeping in tents in 70 degree temperatures. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge and proudly held the honor of 32nd degree for over 50 years. The first priority in dad's life was his family. On December 18, 1940 he married Lois Irene Hunter. She would remain his "sweetie" and the love of his life for almost 64 years. The love they shared is an inspiration, to all of us. After retiring, they traveled the country in their RV meeting and making friends along the way. As avid Oklahoma University football fans, they boasted of parking the RV in the Orange Bowl parking lot. Dad's loving memory will always be cherished by his surviving family: brother, Joe Daniel of Enid; beautiful wife, Lois Irene (Hunter) Daniel; daughter, Sharon Kay and her husband, Dell Shaw of Tuttle; son, Edwin Curtis Daniel, Jr. of Warr Acres; son, Donald Eugene Daniel and wife, Carolyn of OKC; grandchildren, Carrie Rodgers, Eric Shaw, Kevin Daniel, Greg Shaw, Jeremy Daniel; great-grandchildren, Jeffrey Shaw, Allyson Shaw, Emily Daniel, Bailey Daniel and Mia Shaw. He was preceded in death by his parents: Adeline and Henry Daniel; brother, Tom Daniel; sisters, Kay Peed, Sally Burton and Lou Ann Kerns."

Ranquist, 89, formerly of Swans Island, died January 6, 2016 at an Ellsworth healthcare facility, surrounded by her loving family. She was born May 12, 1926 on Swans Island, the daughter of Ernest R. and Nora E. (Billings) Withee.
Beulah grew up on Swans Island. When she was a teenager she traveled to Ohio to work as a caregiver for a time. When she returned to the island, she married her one true love, Ricker Ranquist on August 7, 1942. They moved to Portland when he enlisted in the Navy and she worked at the B&M Bean factory while he served our country during WWII. After Ricker's discharge from the Navy, they moved back to Swans Island where they raised their family. While raising seven children, she worked in the store she and Ricker owned and she also worked with him on his lobster boat. She was a member of the Advent Christian Church, where she was a deaconess and Sunday school teacher, a member of the WH&FMS, and the Rebekahs. Beulah was an avid reader, loved walking in the woods, picnics and spending time with her family. She was a wonderful cook and was well known for it. After retirement she and Ricker enjoyed traveling. Beulah had a gentle and kind loving spirit. As one friend said 'she was a woman of infinite patience.' She is survived by her children; Leah and husband, Ronnie Henderson of Scarborough, Linda and husband, Bill Reinhardt of Hancock, Donna Donley of Scarborough, Jean Ranquist of Swans Island, Norene Bishop of St. George, Les and wife, Rhonda Ranquist and Tim Ranquist, all of Swans Island, sister-in-law, Marilyn Withee. Fifteen grandchildren, twenty-three great-grandchildren and seven great-great grandchildren, many cousins, nieces and nephews. Each and every one of her grandchildren held a special place in her heart. Beulah was predeceased by her husband of 69 years, Ricker, sons-in-law, William Donley and Skip Thomas, granddaughter, Patricia Henderson, siblings, Ernestine, Shirley and twins, Leland and Leila."
