[51587] "The Ellsworth American [Ellsworth, Maine], 16 July 2018": "Gerald 'Jerry' Orrin Gray, 81, of Sedgwick, Maine, peacefully passed away on Tuesday, 10 July 2018, in the Island Nursing Home of Deer Isle, Maine, just a few hours shy of his 82nd birthday, as Jerry was born in Castine, on 11 July 1936. Gerald, more frequently known as Jerry, loved to help others and would do anything for anyone. He started very young, working as a woodsman with his father, and continued in this profession throughout his life, working side-by-side with his son, Doug. Jerry was an avid outdoorsman who loved to explore nature, both in his work and recreation. He enjoyed hunting, ice fishing and trapping, and shared many of these experiences with his family and friends, who always enjoyed listening to Jerry's storytelling. He was a lifetime member of the Rainbow Rosier Grange, in Brooksville. Jerry is remembered for his handsome smile, good-natured teasing and his passion for his beliefs. Gerald spent his final days surrounded by his loving family. He will live on forever in many hearts, memories and prayers. Gerald was preceded in death by his parents, Moyle and Florence (Willey) Gray; an infant grandson and an infant great-granddaughter. Left to cherish his memory are Gerald's loving wife, Betty Ann (Astbury) Gray, of sixty-three years; their sons, Reggie (Barbara) Gray, Douglas (Wendy) Gray, all of Sedgwick; and Stacy Gray (and his partner, Gino Bastianelli), of Bloomfield, Connecticut; four granddaughters, Heather (Dana) Candage, of Brooklin; Heidi (Victor) Gillen and Naomi (Ryan) Dorr, all of Sedgwick; and Brandy Gray (and her partner, Lloyd Turner), of Penobscot, Maine. Also survinving are seven great-grandchildren, Dakota, Daniel and Damon Gillen; Amanda and Rylee Dorr; and Sarah and Joshua Chambers; his two sisters, Margaret Pert, of Sedgwick and Suzanne Black, of Blue Hill; along with several nieces, nephews and friends."
She was daughter of James H Mitchell (1801 - 1852) and Polly McGee
Lillis' obituary 12 Jan 1905 in "The Memphis Reveille":
Mrs. Daniel N. Fulk died of the infirmities of old age, January 7, 1905 at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Poe, after a lingering illness, aged 81 years, 3 months and 27 days. The maiden name of the deceased was Miss Lillie Mitchell. She was born in Clinton County, Ohio, September 10, 1823. She was married to Daniel N. Fulk in her nineteenth year. They moved to Scotland County, Missouri, in the spring of 1845 and settled on a farm eight miles north of Memphis. Her husband died August 10, 1899. Since which time she made her home with her children living in this county.
She had ten children--seven boys and three girls--one son and one daughter in Colorado, two sons in Oregon, one son in Kansas, one in Texas, one daughter in New Mexico, two sons and one daughter living in this county.
Another pioneer of this county has passed away. She was a beautiful character, a devoted wife and mother and a good neighbor. When her life went out, even at a ripe old age, it was a loss to the community as well as to the immediate relatives. While her voice is stilled in death, her virtues live in the memory of all who had the pleasure of her acquaintance. Funeral services were held in the church at Hitt, Monday, January 9, Eld. M.J. Niconson, of this city, officiating, after which all that was mortal of Mother Fulk was laid to rest in the cemetery.
