He was referred to as being about 79 in 1666, so we can place his birth at about 1587. In 1618, he married Prudence Esse, daughter of Henry, Gentleman of Sowton, Devon, and Loveday, daughter of Richard Moyle of St. Austle, Cornwall. The couple had one daughter, Anne, and several sons, including Christopher, Esse, Oliver, William and Richard. Oliver's three brothers all entered a Catholic seminary. Oliver, it appears, was the sole exception. Oliver became heir to his father's older brother, Christopher Mainwaring in 1634, when Christopher died without issue and with no will. He passed away on March 14, 1672/3, and was buried at Dawlish, Devon." Many family members were by her side as she joined her husband, Freeman, in Heaven. Mary was born on Oct. 28, 1929, in Fairfield, to Obie and Minnie (Sheffer) Robar. She was a homemaker most of her life, raising seven children, Eldred 'Al,' Pamela, Victoria 'Vicky,' John, Mary 'Wendy,' Dennis 'Tim,' and Randall 'Scott.' She had a brother, Wallace, and a sister, Evelyn, who have passed before her. She is survived by her children and their spouses, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Mary will always be remembered for her quick wit and delicious pies. Mary's family would like to thank the staff of Oak Grove and hospice for taking such good care of our mom."

Born in Pennsylvania, he had lived in Akron for 47 years, and had worked at several motor freight companies. He is survived by wife, Ollie J.; son, Floyd Stormer; daughters, Saundra Stadler, and Dorothy Stein, all of Mogadore; and five grandchildren."
