"The Bangor Daily News [Bangor, Maine]," 7 February 2023: "Columbia Falls - Kenneth Fernald (Beal) Snowdeal died peacefully at home after a long battle with non-Hodgkin's lymphoma surrounded by family on Jan. 27, 2023. He was born April 9, 1941, to Paul V. and Mary (Thaxter) Beal of Jonesport. Ken was later adopted by Willis Snowdeal. Following service in the United States Navy, he worked in the logging and construction industry until his retirement.
He is survived by his six children, Letitia, Ruth, Constance, Shane, Marcella and Kenneth T.; 11 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. Ken is also survived by significant other and caring companion of 20 years, Carol R. Smith; and her son, Jason (Kim) Smith, to whom Ken was like a father and like a grandfather to their children, Mali and Nyah, all of Columbia Falls. Ken is also survived by two brothers, Ordway and Harper Snowdeal of Jonesboro. He also leaves behind aunts, nieces, nephews and several cousins."
