While no link has been established, there was a person with surname Beaufoe with William the Conqueror in 1066 as reported by http://genealogy.patp.us/conq/unident.shm: "Robert le Sire de Belfou -- Here we have a baptismal name to assist us, and as Guillaume de Poitiers also calls him Robert, I adopt it, merely observing that Le Prévost states he is called Ralf in some contemporary documents, and that we find a Radulph de Bellofago in Domesday. The modern lists have Raoul and William. Beaufou, Beaufoi, or Belfai, latinised Bellofagus, is in the neighbourhood of Pont-l'Evêque. Its lords were descended in female line from Ralph, Comte d'Ivri, uterine brother of Duke Richard I, already mentioned (page 220, ante); and Sir Henry Ellis, in his 'Introduction to Domesday,' suggests that the Radulphus of that book was a near relation, if not a son, of William de Beaufoe, Bishop of Thetford, Chaplain and Chancellor of the Conqueror. I consider him more likely to have been the son of Robert, the combatant of Senlac, and nephew of William the Bishop. No particulars are known of either, and except through females no descendants are traceable in England."

[51374] "The Ellsworth American [Ellsworth, Maine], 29 June 2017": "Waterville - 'Its been a long run, but a good one.' Stated Fred to son Ted. Frederick V. Perkins Sr., 87, passed away peacefully with many prayers from family, friends and clergy on June 25, 2017, in Waterville. Fred was the first-born child of Henry G. Perkins and Ruth Varney Perkins, born in Springfield on Nov. 20, 1929. Attending school in Patten, Old Town and Ellsworth, he graduated in the Class of 1948 from Ellsworth High School, where he played basketball, baseball and football. Summers of Freds youth were spent in West Brooksville with his beloved grandparents, Fred J. Perkins and Laura Littlefield Tapley Perkins, on their farm. After graduation, Fred joined the U.S. Navy for a year of active duty and six years reserve. He attended the University of Maine in Orono in the forestry program then a year as a business major at Husson College. His attendance at Husson led to a choice that shaped the rest of his long fruitful life; he met and fell in love with Patricia A. Curran. That pairing inspired his true calling, to be a dairy farmer.
