[36290] This person is from the unverified family tree by Carolyn Bonnot in Ancestry.com in 2014 which states Edward is son of Sir Hugh Conway and Janet Stanley. Ancestry.com offers: "Conway Name Meaning - Irish: Anglicized form of various Gaelic names, such as Mac Conmidhe (see McNamee); Ó Connmhaigh or Mac Connmhaigh (descendant (or son) of Connmhach, a personal name derived from connmach head-smashing), also Anglicized as Conoo; and Ó Conbhuide (descendant of Cú Bhuidhe, a personal name composed of the elements cú hound + buidhe yellow). Welsh: habitational name from Conwy formerly Conway, a fortified town on the coast of North Wales, itself named for the river on which it stands. Scottish: habitational name from Conway in the parish of Beauly, recorded c.1215 as Coneway and in 1291 as Convathe. It probably gets its name from Gaelic coinmheadh billet, free quarters, being so named as the district in which the local lords household troops were billeted."

Obituary - Francis "Fanny" Hepler - "Tionesta (PA) Republican":
Hepler, Fanny - December 31, 1914 - Mrs. Fanny Hepler was a daughter of the late Jacob and Mary Pollins Hepler, and was born at Bradys Bend, Armstrong county, on June 22, 1816. She was united in marriage with David Hepler of Cherry Run, Clarion county, on October 14, 1837. The young couple journeyed into the wilds of Clarion county and cleared for themselves a home out of the forest. Mr. Hepler died at Newmansville March 18, 1874, and Mrs. Hepler has resided there continually ever since.
About 5 years ago by a fall she sustained a fractured limb that made her an invalid, so she had to spend her later days and years in an invalid chair, her wants were administered by her daughter and son-in-law, Mrs. and Mr. John Hidinger, and they deserve the highest esteem of the community, for the good care they bestowed upon the invalid mother.
She was the mother of ten children, eight of whom are living, namely: James of Newmansville; William, of Washington, D.C.; Isaac of Knox; Louis of Shippenville; Irwin of Franklin; A.B. of Tionesta; Jackson of Ashland, Ohio; and Frances Hidinger of Newmansville. Besides the children mentioned there are also 33 grandchildren, 45 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Hepler was a member of the Lutheran church and in that faith she lived and died at the age of 98 years, 5 months and 15 days. Peace be to her ashes.
