She was born in East Machias, Aug. 1 8, 1895, the daughter of Frank L. and Azua G. (Foss) Beam. Helen was a homemaker, and raised eight children with her husband, Parker Eaton Sr. She was a member of the RIDS Church in Deer Isle. Helen loved music and dancing, and even danced at her 101st birthday party. Sne is survived by three sons, Samuel Eaton and his wife, Virginia, Parker Eaton Jr., and Kenneth Eaton and his wife, Sandra, all of Deer Isle; one daughter, Dorothy Carter of Deer Isle; 36 grandchildren, 50 great-grandchildren and 19 great-great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Helen was predeceased by her husband, Parker in 1962; four daughters, Gwendolyn Eaton, Elnora Gove, Ruby Connor and Marlene Stevens; four brothers, Raymond Beam, William Beam, Guy Beam, and Edward Parker; two sisters, Carrie Kelly and Calla Dickie."
