[57613] "The Ellsworth American [Ellsworth, Maine], 11 October 2024: "Hancock - Nancy J. Parsons, 78, died June 26, 2024, at the Ellsworth hospital with family by her side. She was born Sept. 6, 1945, in Ellsworth, the daughter of William and Olive (Bunker) Jackson. Nancy spent her working career at The First National Bank holding multiple positions in her over 40-year tenure, working in both the Bar Harbor and Ellsworth locations. Family was the most important thing to Nancy, and having them all together made her the happiest, especially when at camp. She loved her children dearly, but her granddaughters were her world, and she was incredibly proud of each and every one of them. Nancy enjoyed trips with the love of her life Bob, adventures with her best friend Evelyn, and the lunches she had with the members of her bank family. To celebrate recently beating breast cancer, Nancy took a memorable cruise with her daughter Heather."
