He had been a member of the First Lutheran church for the past 40 years. His survivors include his widow, Catherine: one daughter, Mrs. Glenn Mowry, of Canton; one granddaughter, Mrs. Richard Darling. Mansfield; six brothers, A. G. Heichel and Ray Heichel, of Mansfield, Loin Heichel, of Springfield township, Jay Heichel, of Crestline, and Joseph Heichel, of Washington:. one sister, Mrs. Nora Barr, of Mifflin; four half-brothers William, James and Harry Heichel of Mansfield, and Elmer Heichel of Kentucky, and one half-sister, Mrs. Clifford Wharton of Mansfield.
