"The Akron Beacon Journal [Akron, Ohio]," 5 September 1927, p. 13: "Funeral services will be held at the home, 484 E. Market st., at 3 o'clock Tuesday afternoon for Mrs. Elsie C. Seiber, 71, who died suddenly Friday night of heart disease. Rev. E. W. Simon, pastor of Trinity Lutheran church, in which Mrs. Sieber was an active worker, will officiate. Interment will be in Glendale cemetery. Mrs. Sieber was the wife of Col. George Siebcr, former state senator and veteran attorney. She had lived in Akron 44 years, coming here after her marriage to Col. Sieber in Middleburg, Pa. Joseph B. Sieber, a son, was twice candidate for the republican nomination as governor."
