Heichel, 85, of Everett, died October 18, 1978 in a local hospital. She was born August 19, 1893 in Goodland, Indiana and had lived in Everett since 1937. She was a member and past President of the Gold Star Mothers (Evergreen Chapter) and a member and past President of the Degree of Honor No. 85. She is survived by four sons, John J. Heichel of Monroe, Fred Heichel of Marysville, Ray Heichel of Roseburg, Oregon and Joe Heichel of Modesto, California; two daughters, Nora Young of Snohomish and Doris Moran of Everett; 20 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; brother, Minor Cobus of Manhattan Montana and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Heichel, in 1952."

[37077] Find A Grave Memorial 17009200 offers: "Charles Edward Lacy was born 23 Sep 1876, the fourth child of Albert and Alaphair Akers Lacy in Owen Township, Jackson County, Indiana. His mother died sometime after he was born but before 1880. He married Jessie Belle Cohorn in Jackson County in 1896. After a few kids were born, the family moved to Jasonville in Greene County, Indiana where Charley worked for the railroad all of his working years with jobs described in censuses as section hand, switch light, and track work. He worked for the Southern Indiana Railroad. The family was unharmed by the big Jasonville fire of 1914 during which the kids were very scared and hid under the bed. His life was cut short, dying in Marco, Greene, Indiana on 7 May 1924 at the age of 47 of valvular heart disease as a result of rheumatic fever, per his death certificate."

He was clerk of the works for the following projects: Boggy Brook Vocational School of Ellsworth, Ellsworth High School, Blue Hill Consolidated School, Penobscot School, Garland Street School in Bangor, and many projects at the Maine Maritime Academy, as well as many other local projects. He was currently working on the Oxford Hills School project in Norway/Paris. Kerry was a member of the Rising Star Masonic Lodge No. 177 AF & AM of Penobscot, where he was a past master. Kerry is survived by his parents; his wife, Christine (Piper) Leach; a son, Mathieu L. Leach; and a daughter, Wendy E. Leach, all of Penobscot; two sisters, Judy Pendleton of Penobscot and Della Martin of Blue Hill; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Kenderick and Hattie Piper of Blue Hill; many other family members."
