Find A Grave Memorial 17304210 offers: "Matthew Baustert, 91, of Vandergrift, died Thursday (April 24, 2003) in Fair Winds Manor, Sarver, Winfield. Born Jan. 10, 1912, in Vandergrift, he lived in the borough all of his life. He was a molder at the Hyde Park Foundry prior to retiring. Mr. Baustert was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Vandergrift, the Vandergrift Senior Citizens Center and East Vandergrift Senior Citizens Center, where he sang with the Sing-A-Longs. Survivors include two sons, Wayne (Jean) Baustert of Washington Township and Dennis (Debra) Baustert of Allegheny Township; a daughter, Patricia A. Bubeck of Lewes, Del. and Punta Gorda, Fla; 11 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Diebler Baustert in 1992; his parents, Francis 'Frank' and Mary Deitrich Baustert; five brothers, Nicholas, Francis John, George, Julius and Edwin Baustert; and seven sisters, Anna Clever, Susanna Baustert, Margaret Arnold, Rosa Anna Kirch, Helen Andring, Mary Ciuca and Cescelia Baustert. . . .
