Mr. Brillhart had been a resident of the Mapleton vicinity for 42 years. Born on 25 September 1864, at Dayton, Kas., he was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Valentine Brillhart. He married Nannie Parker on 10 April 1884 at Fort Scptt. He leaves his wife, Mrs. Nannie Brillhart; two sons, Delphus and Floyd Brillhart, both of Mapleton; two daughters, Mrs. Don Davis of Kansas City and Mrs. Arla Farmer of Devon; a brother, James Brillhart of Fort Scott, and a sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Odell of Fort Scott. There are 15 grandchildren."
