"Gen.Dict. of ME & NH," pp. 404-05: Robert r. York, ME, a mason, was ca. 71 in 1658 and ca. 86 in 1671; was juryman, Grand Juror, Selectman; r. Boston with his son where his will was executed during the summer of 1676. Children include Richard, a weaver, r. Boston; Joan, m. ca. 1648 Rowland Young & in 1685 conveyed her father's homestead to her son Rowland; Margaret. Cf.
