Elizabeth Snow, wife of John, was admitted to the church 30 Aug 1713...On 20 Nov. 1721 Deacon John Snow, wife Elizabeth and son Joshua witnessed the will of Joseph Young of Truro; she swore as to attestation on 30 Jan 1722/3....On 31 March 1728 he was 'discarded for suspected adultery and other misdemeanors.' Probably as a result of his troubles, he moved ca.1728 to Duck Creek, Kent. Co., DE...First wife Elizabeth apparently remained on Cape Cod. She may be the Elizabeth Snow whose cattle mark was recorded at Truro 29 April 1736. No record of divorce or probate has been found for her.

She was born September 13, 1948, in Island Falls, the daughter of Ernest J. and Violet M. (Bragdon) White of Oakfield. Ella loved coffee time with friends and family. She loved to travel to new places but her favorite place to travel was Texas. She enjoyed crocheting, doing her Sudoku books, and listening to and collecting Elvis' music and memorabilia. Her all-time favorite thing to do though was to spend time with her family. She is survived by her son, Ernest and his wife, Regina Smith, of Oakfield; her daughter, Carla Smith and her partner, Chris Joseph, of Copperas Cove, Texas; daughter-in-law, Gidget Smith of Houlton; 12 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Ernest "Pete" White and his wife, Linda, of Missouri, and Harris White and his wife, Patty, of Oakfield; two sisters, Sissy White and Ginny Tucker of Merrill; four sisters-in-law, Barbara, Ruby, Penny, and Joan; many nieces and nephews; and close friends, Connie and Richard, Pam, Debbie, Freddie, and many more. She was predeceased by her parents, Grammy Eva and Grampie Paul Bragdon; her husband, Carl Smith; son, Thomas Smith; granddaughters, Ashley Cummings and C.J. Smith; and siblings, Dorothy, Hiram, Dennis, Phillip and Steven."
