He was born October 17, 1927, in Machias the son of the late Nelson and Lena (Farnsworth) Clark. He proudly served in the U.S. Army, and after in the Army Reserves. He retired as a truck driver from Edgecomb Steel in NH. He also worked for many years as a woodsman, a job he truly loved. He was a member of the Jonesboro Union Church, and the V.F.W. He was an avid hunter, and also enjoyed fishing, and gardening. He is survived by his wife, Mary (Flaherty) Clark; children, Sam Clark and partner, Sue, Corinne Tometich and husband, Brad, and Martha Redington; grandchildren, Annaliese Goodwin, Johnathan Clark, Michael Clark, Nathan Redington, and Ashley Redington; stepchildren, Alan, Duane, and Shawn Geel, and Cathleen Curtis; 5 step-grandchildren; and 6 step-great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his first wife, Cora; a grandson, Ian; and a stepson, Kevin."
