[19637] Bell ("Israel Kenny...," 1944, pp. 28-29) reports that she m. William Scoullar (b. in Scotland, 22 March, 1798 to Joseph Scoullar and Marion Gibson, d. in NB in 1868), a ship builder whose yards in Oromocto launched the ship "Coronation" in 1839, the "Neptune" in 1847 and the "Chancellor." William represented the County of Sunbury in the provincial legislature 1843-47 and 1850-54. Mary and William had twelve children, including Albert Edward Scoullar. Two sons emigrated to Australia in 1852. Rhonda Scoullar offered via email in February, 2007: "Children: (1)Andrew W. Scoullar Born 1826, so too old to be son of Mary, but I have not been able to trace alternative. (2)George Frederick (1833-1900) Migrated to Australia in 1850's (maybe earlier). (3)*Hiram Nathaniel (1835-1911) Migrated to Australia a little before George I think. This is my great grandfather. (4)James (1839-1862). killed fighting for the Union in the Civil war. [11535] Ferdinand I (of Aragon and Sicily), called The Just (1379?-1416), king of Aragon and Sicily (1412-16). He was the younger son of John I, king of Castile, and Eleanor of Aragon. In 1406, upon the death of his elder brother King Henry III of Castile, Ferdinand declined the Castilian crown and instead, with Henry's widow Catherine, became coregent during the minority of his nephew John II of Castile. In this capacity he distinguished himself by his prudent administration of domestic affairs. After Ferdinand's uncle, Martin I (1356-1410), king of Aragon and, as Martin II, king of Sicily, died without issue, Ferdinand was chosen king in 1412 to succeed him. The most notable accomplishment of his brief reign was his agreement in 1416 to depose the antipope Benedict XIII, thereby helping to end the Great Schism, which had divided the Western church for nearly 40 years.
