(2) 22 Aug 1816 in Linton Twp., Coshocton Co., OH to Sarah Black (b. 2 June 1792 in Followfield, Washington Co., PA, d. 20 Dec 1876 in Ostego, Muskingum Co., OH) - and that Israel may have been born in Gray, ME - and that Israel is son of Hilton Decatur Buker (b. 1736 in England, d. 11 Dec 1757 in Gray, ME, son of Decatur Buker [b. ca. 1690]). http://www.findagrave.com offers "Israel BUKER was a Patriot of the Revolutionary War, joining at the age of 19, achieving the rank of Sergeant Major, and serving under the Generals Lafayette, Lee and Gates. He accompanied General George Washington to Valley Forge and survived the winter there. He served 8 years and was discharged in 1783. In 1808 he emigrated to Coshocton Co OHIO to claim his 'Bounty Lands' and was followed there by sons Alpha Elisha and Caleb. He died at age 92; was a farmer and taught school for 40 years. He died in 1460 & was succeeded by his son: Sir William, 2nd of Duntreath, 1460-1486 - m. Matilda, dau. of Lord James Stewart (surviving son of Murdoch, Duke of Albany.)
