Larry was born August 6, 1947 to the late Chester F. and Mary (Beasom) Sheibley. He was a 1965 graduate of Newport High School, where he was a member of the National Honor Society, 1969 graduate of Shippensburg University with a B.S. in Mathematics and Spanish, 1973 and 1975 graduate of West Chester University with a M.Ed in Instructional Media Education and Secondary Education and 2008 graduate of Charles W. Howard Santa Claus School. He was a retired middle school mathematics teacher in the West Chester Area School District from September 1969 - June 1999. During those thirty years, at various times, he taught 6, 7, 8, and 9 at East School, North Junior, Fugett Middle, Gifted Education Center, and Stetson Middle. At Fugett, he was a Mathematics Department Chairman and team leader. He co-authored Computer Literacy Success Kit published in 1984 by J. Weston Walch Publishers, Portland, ME. He was a volunteer in the Emergency Room at Brandywine Hospital and Trauma Center, Coatesville, Pa. 1995-2002, volunteer math and ESL tutor for the Perry County Literacy Council and volunteer GED and ESL tutor at the Perry County Prison. He traveled to all 7 continents, over 140 countries and all 50 states. He was a speaker at local, state, and national mathematics conventions and since 2008, annually sponsored 3 scholarships to Newport High School Graduating Seniors. Larry was a member of the Newport First Church of God, Newport Lodge #381 F&AM, Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite: Valley of Harrisburg, Newport Royal Arch Chapter #238, Sons of the American Revolution: Halifax Chapter (secretary), Sons of the Union Veterans of the Civil War: Gen. "Bangor Daily News [Bangor, Maine], 24 February 2023: " Kennebunk and Old Town - Mary-Ann Taylor, 83, a resident of Kennebunk, formerly of Old Town, passed away Monday evening, February 20, 2023, at home with her loving family at her side following a long illness. Mary-Ann was born January 3, 1940, in Old Town, the daughter of Alvin 'Jack' and Gladys (Dow) Strout, and is a graduate of Old Town High School. She was employed by ADCO Surgical Supply Company in Bangor, where she worked her way up to the company's purchasing agent. Leaving there, she joined the University of Maine, Orono, where she worked as the facilities purchasing agent for 20 years, before needing to leave a position she enjoyed, to care for her mother. An active member of her faith community, she was an active member of St. Joseph's Church in Old Town, and Holy Spirit Parish St. Mary's Church and more recently St. Martha's Church, serving in many capacities, including Eucharistic Minister.
Family was most important to Mary-Ann, who fostered close relationships with all of her family, spending time playing cribbage together, spending winters in Florida where family would travel to visit, walking the Marginal Way and sharing a lunch together at the beach. Survivors include her loving husband of 63 years, James A. Taylor of Kennebunk; her children, Colleen (Taylor) Boyle and favorite son-in-law, Michael, of Wells, and Keith A. Taylor of Biddeford; six grandchildren, Taylor Boyle of the Netherlands, Hayley and Reilly Boyle, both of Wells, Gabriella, Hannah and Grace Taylor, all of Bangor; and a wide circle of extended family."

The Rev. C. A. Stewart will officiate and burial will be made in Fountain Grove cemetery. Services for Rodney Tingle, 15, of Montpelier, brother-in-law of Mrs. Tingle and third victim of the accident, were held Sunday at the Friend Funeral Home at Montpelier. Mrs. Tingle was killed instantly when her automobile collided with a car driven by E. O. Bender, 60, of Marton, Ind., beneath the intersection of U. S. highway 20 and state road 15 eight miles east of Elkhart. Her companions died at Elkhart General hospital. Bender was seriously hurt and was taken to the Goshen hospital. The Bryan women and the Montpelier youth were enroute to South Bend, where Mrs. Tingle's husband, Robert, is employed. Bender was enroute to Grand Rapids, Mich., to visit his wife, who is in a hospital there. Survivors include Mrs. Tingle's husband, two daughters, Mary Elizabeth and Doretta Ann; the two womens parents, Mr. and Mrs. Riley Long of Bryan; a sister, Mrs. Virginia Barker of Bryan, and Rodney Tingle's mother, Mrs. Estella Tingle of Montpelier.
