[14778] William's marrriage record states he is son of Cyrus Moody and Vila Sikes. "Springfield Republican, 17 August 1904," p. 8: "William A Moody, 69, died at his home on South street yesterday morning after a few days illness with heart disease. Mr Moody was a veteran of the civil war and had served throughout the four years. He enlisted in Co F of the 27th Massachusetts regiment. Few soldiers experienced hardships so severe as those which Mr Moody underwent, and survived. He received a wound in the right leg, from which he never fully recovered, and suffered severely in both Libby and Andersonville prison. Mr Moody was born in this city and had lived in Northampton ever since the civil war. He was a plumber and worked 23 years for the firm of Eames & Sprague of Northampton. He was married in 1874 to Miss Julia Whitcomb, who survives him."

Find A Grave memorial 116665616 offers: "William Tryon, d. intestate of record Oct. 2, 1711 at Wethersfield, Conn. He was at least twice married. It is believed he m. 1) Mary Steele, dau. of Lieut. Samuel Steele and Mary Boosey, b. Dec. 5, 1652 at Farmington, Conn. Her death date is not of record. Betw. May 31, 1688 and Jan. 17, 1688/9, he m. Sarah (also called 'Saint') Robinson, dau. of Thomas and Mary Robinson of Guilford, Conn., and widow of Bezaleel Latimer of Wethersfield. She d. of record at Wethersfield Dec. 7, 1711. William had the following surviving children named in the Apr. 6, 1713 distribution of his estate at Wethersfield (in the order mentioned): sons Joseph (eldest), David, Thomas, Abel, Ziba and Abial; and daus. Sarah (Gillet) the eldest, Elizabeth (Hill), and Mabel. While son Abial, b. circa 1695, was the only surviving child by second wife Sarah, on June 4, 1699 William and Sarah's dau. Rachel was bapt. at the Wethersfield Church, but died before 1711."
