[9432] Charles had two sons, Charles and John Earl, and at least one daughter, Charlene. John Earl Briner, known as Jack, died at Duncannon, PA in January, 1980. "Duncannon Record [Duncanon, PA], 11 December 1924" p. 1: "Charles Briner, aged 47 years, a native of New Bloomfield, died at the Stetson Hospital, Camden, N. J., Monday, November 24th, following a brief illness of pneumonia. He was a son of the late John Briner and was born and reared at New Bloomfield, where he learned the printing trade and for some time later was employed in this office. He is survived by two sons, Charles and Earl, 16 and 13 years of age respectively. He is also survived by a brother and sister, Samuel Briner, of New Bloomfield, and Mrs. A. S. Noye, of this place, where his remains were brot Thursday following his death and taken to New Bloomfield the following day where services were held in the Methodist church during the afternoon, Rev. A. J. Martin officiating. Interment was made in the Bloomfield cemetery."
