Find A Grave memorial 53749751 offers: "Knight, 4th Lord Segrave, of Barton Segrave and Chaucombe, Northamptonshire. Of Bretby in Repton, Derbyshire. In right of his wife, of Earl Framlington, Forncett, Lopham and Suffield, Norfolk, of Little Framlingham, Suffolk. In 1350, Margaret initiated divorce proceedings based on the fact she was contracted to him before a marriagable age, and never agreed to cohabit with him. She set out to Rome to secure the divorce with safe conduct form the King of France. In 1351, she was charged by the king as crossing the channel against the king's wishes, where she met at night a Thomas Barbour, servant of Sir Walter de Mauny."
