[50725] The unverified file L1DP-6G8 in famiysearch.org reports: "Leonard's father is unknown. His mother was Augusta Haskell. He is noted as "grandson" in the 1880 census for Smyrna, Maine. Despite the information on the 1899 NH marriage record, he certainly couldn't be the son of James Haskell Jr & Jane Goodnow, because James died in 1864." "The Bangor Daily News [Bangor, Maine]," 15 August 1941, p. 10: "Lincoln, Aug. 14 - Services for Leonard J. Haskell, 70, who died in Bangor, were held this afternoon from the Barton funeral home by the Rev. David Grindell with burial in the Lincoln cemetery. The bearers were three sons, Percy of Dover, N.H., Almon of East Orrlngton, and Wilfred, and a son-in-law, Duncan McEachern of Brewer."
