Joan eventually followed her second husband, John Tuttle, to Carrickfergus, Ireland - he went there in 1650/51 and she in 1654 - he died 30 Dec 1656; she was alive in 1659. John was a mercer at St. Albans; they m. ca. 1626-28; he was b. ca. 1596; they had four children (see "Tuttle Genealogy", by G. F. Tuttle (1883). Joan and John and her Lawrence and Tuttle children came to New England on the "Planter", landing in June, 1635; her mother, Joan, probably lived with the Tuttles at Ipswich, MA. and died there. David L. Beckwith gives a brother for Joan in his Web site (http://www.smokykin.com/ged/f004/f35/a0043571.htm): Robert Antrobus, b. 21 Feb 1591 at St. Albans, Hertfordshire. He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Sandra Pangburn Henderson of Littleton; his son, Stephen Henderson of Littleton; daughters, Karen and Al Butler of Brunswick, Robin and Mark Wellman of Levant, and Lisa Henderson Mooers of Brewer; 7 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren; one sister, Fern Sewell of Houlton; one brother Ronald and Nancy Henderson of Fairfield; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was born Sept. 2, 1922, in St. John, New Brunswick, the daughter of Kenneth Cameron and Stella Mary (Mac Catherine) White. Gloria worked for many years at Mount Desert Island Hospital and Bar Harbor Public Health Nursing. She was a 50-year member of Bar Harbor Congregational Church. Gloria is survived by her beloved husband of 62 years, Robert L. Gray of Ellsworth; two sons, Kenneth L. Gray of Southwest Harbor and Michael S. Gray of Bangor; one daughter, Judith A. Albano of Seabrook, N.H.; five grandchildren, Robert G., Kenneth G., Jaime, Stephanie and Tom; and two special cousins, Mary Bennoch and Jessica Oulette."
