The grave marker records he served in the U. S. Cavalry during World War I. Margaret is buried with him. The 1910 federal census in Ridgeway, Lenawee Co., MI lists Margaret E., b. in 1908 in IN, daughter of Ralph W. George and Lenora M. _____."
