Loose, 72, of 31 Pelton Ave. who died Monday at his home. Born in California Township, he was a Batavia Township farmer from 1921 to 1944. He moved to Coldwater in 1944 and was employed as a painter at the Coldwater State Home and Training School until his retirement in 1964. Surviving are his widow, the former Cora Dubendorf; daughters, Mrs. Kenneth L. ((Phyllis) Wagar of Ovid Township and Mrs. Leslie R. (Wilma) Olney of Girard Township; sons, Robert E. Loose of Girard Township and Wilford J. of Coldwater; brothers, Charles. Martin and Harry Loose, all of Coldwater; sisters, Mrs. B. J. (Jennie) Harpham and Mrs. Roy (Pearl) Swihart, both of Coldwater; five grandchildren, and one greatgrandchild.
