Geist, veteran justice of the peace and, one of the best known old residents of Upper Mahanoy township, died Monday at his home in Leek Kill. Death resulted from the effects of a stroke of paralysis which the venerable gentleman recently suffered. Mr. Geist was aged 75 years and for years he had been a justice of the peace for Upper Mahanoy township. He is survived by three sons and two daughters."
