Born in Ashland county, Mr. Heichel came to Mansfield at an early age, having resided here since that time. He was employed at the Tappan Stove company for the past 49 years. He had been a member of the First Lutheran church for the past 40 years. His survivors include his widow, Catherine: one daughter, Mrs. Glenn Mowry, of Canton; one granddaughter, Mrs. Richard Darling. Mansfield; six brothers, A. G. Heichel and Ray Heichel, of Mansfield, Loin Heichel, of Springfield township, Jay Heichel, of Crestline, and Joseph Heichel, of Washington:. one sister, Mrs. Nora Barr, of Mifflin; four half-brothers William, James and Harry Heichel of Mansfield, and Elmer Heichel of Kentucky, and one half-sister, Mrs. Clifford Wharton of Mansfield.
