[23975] Family Tree Maker's DC 194, "Massachusetts and Maine Families," II:48 states that Elizabeth is daughter of Zachariah Goodale and Elizabeth Cousins (daughter of Thomas Cousins). There is no conclusive proof, but the author states that there is no other Goodale family into which she could fit in Wells or Maine. Zachariah, b. 15 May 1675 in Salem, MA, is son of Isaac Goodale (ibid, p. 41, b. 1634) and Patience Cook (m. 25 Nov 1668). Isaac is son of Robert Goodale (d. 1682/3) and wife Catherine (ibid., p. 38) who arrived on the Ship Elizabeth in 1634 and settled at Salem, MA.
