He was born at Mapleton, May 2, 1884, son of Charles and Clinena (Caswell) Archer. He was a former resident of Fairfield and had lived in Mapleton for the past two years. He was a retired carpenter and had been a member of the Carpenters-Masons Union in Waterville. He is survived by two sons, Howard of Mapleton and Raymond of Nebraska; a daughter, Mrs. Glenna Sinclair of Bangor; a sister, Mrs. Abble Ireland of Mapleton; 26 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. . . Burial will be in the Southside Cemetery in Mapleton."
