Mrs. Ruths was married June 29, 1918, in St. Paul's Evangelical United Brethren Church, Mount Carmel, to the former Carrie Raybuck. His death terminates a marital union of over 51 years. Mr. Ruths was a member of All Saints Lutheran Church, Kulpmont, and Social Civic Club, Mount Carmel. Survivors, in addition to the widow, include two sons, Walter, Bristol, and the Rev. Arthur Ruths, pastor of St. Matthew's Lutheran Church, Hanover; one daughter, Mrs. Wayne (Betty) Evans, Middletown; nine grandsons, three great-grandchildren, and two brothers, George, Mount Carmel, and Walter, Phoenixville."
