On 17 November 1877 Asher married Addie Sarah Rich at Bar Harbor, Hancock, Maine.
In the 1880 census, Asher's first wife's family (John and Zena Rich and their children) lived in Eden, Hancock, Maine. I could not find Asher or his wife in this census.
From August 8, 1880 to June 13, 1886 a F. A. Palmer was the reverend at the Baptist Church in Boothbay, Lincoln Co., Maine. There are no F. A. Palmer's in the 1880 Census in Boothbay.??????
On June 3, 1896 Asher F. Palmer of Eden, Hancock, Maine married Millicent E. Coy of Bradford, Penobscot, Maine in No. Bradford, Penobscot, Maine. Asher had three children from his first wife when he remarried. Millicent's descendants say that Asher was a minister in Foxcroft, Maine while they were married.

Ancestry World Tree reports that Asher Foster Palmer married Hermia Augusa Graves about 1903. She was born 23 August 1864 and married again in June 1925. Asher does not acknowledge this marriage in his 1910 census return in Seattle, Washington.
In about 1908 Asher married for the third (or fourth) time to Bertha Baron (Baren) born in France about 1886. She was 27 years younger than Asher.

Asher and Bertha had two children whose births are recorded in the Washington State Birth Index, 1907-1919. This is the only record that states that Asher's full name is Asher Foster Palmer.
