He had worked 25 years for the Homer Foundry here prior to its closing in 1961. He is survived by his widow, the former Pearl Loose; a son, Richard L. Swihart of Prescott, Ariz.; a sister, Mrs. Myrtie Bastian; and two brothers, Leo Swihart of Battle Creek and Carl Swihart of Manton."
